MS Het Sop was delivered in 2006. Captain Rutgert Oosterhuis brought the unfinished ship to the Netherlands where he completed the work himself. This allowed him to choose high-quality materials while ensuring the boat's finish was just the way he wanted it.
Het Sop’s spacious main deck was designed to be multifunctional. Whether transferring crew and supplies to helicopters or transforming into a floating film-set, complete with wind turbines, Het Sop’s wide deck can be usedsuccessfully for any purpose!
The extremely reliable Volvo Penta diesel engine powers the boat as well as its machinery. When you choose Het Sop, you will be using a boat certified in its class by Register Holland, which means safety and reliability are guaranteed.
